In an effort to keep you up to date with what’s going on at WABC, here are the announcements we are highlighting this week.
THIS Sunday night, we will have a night of prayer and worship. We will worship in song and pray for our church, our community, our nation, and our world, and then we will take communion together. We’ll wrap up the evening with a meal together. We hope you will join us!
On Wednesday, March 26, we will be accepting nominations for three deacons to serve a three-year term. Please be in prayer for the men God has for these positions to serve the church body. Deacon elections will take place on April 30.
VBS is just around the corner, and we need volunteers to teach or assist with Bible study, recreation, snacks, crafts, etc. If you are willing to help, please sign up through Church Center.
The Women’s Ministry Care Team exists to help meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of women and their families during hard times in their lives. We will serve members in our congregation by bringing meals to women who have just been in the hospital or had surgery, have had a baby, have recently lost a spouse or child, or any other circumstance where she could benefit from having a meal brought to her.
This team may also do hospital visits, send cards, make phone calls, or send texts to provide extra support. If you are interested in serving on this team or for other volunteer opportunities, please follow the link below.
